Gardens Cabin was - at my time of visiting in August 2024 - an exceptional hotel. I chose a premium capsule (with a slightly bigger bed and personal space to walk. The entire operation is well-managed and I was permitted to check in late shortly after midnight. I was helped to understand the system by which this hotel works (and how the sleeping area is separate from the packing + bathroom areas) and there was literature in English to help further. The internet connection was extremely fast and allowed me to carry out any work I needed. The hotel is conveniently located above a 7-Eleven shop for purchasing any necessities. The hotel is more conveniently located almost in the centre of town, for easy walking and public transport access to the busiest and most vibrant areas of Sapporo. The staff were kind but we had very little interaction because most of my needs were met all at once upon check-in (which was a fast check-in in my experience). Breakfast was delicious and a true highlight, including a mix of rice, eggs, fish, chicken, pork, salad, and baked goods - alongside good coffee and juice. I must mention the public bath ('spa' or 'onsen') which was truly divine. Access to the public bath was included in the price of my stay, and the public bath is also available to members of the public who pay for day access. The baths were separated into male and female baths, and otherwise I shared the baths with other people. A cold, warm, and hot bath were available, and the facilities of these baths including the bathing options + lockers + bathroom sinks were outstanding. Having spent a lot of time walking during my trip, the baths soothed my aching muscles and I found the clientele were very polite.

Fabulous location, only metres from Odori Park where the snow festival takes place. Good for shopping and restaurant areas, and right next to bus, tram and underground train stations, also less than 15 minutes' walk from the main train station. Everything was clean and comfortable and in good condition. Sleeping pods had adjustable reading lights, warm futons, tv snd the shared aisle had a small desk and room to put a small amount of luggage. Bigger luggage items could be chained to a pole at the end of the corridor. Staff were helpful and I noticed them taking extra care to explain the facilities to a guest who spoke neither Japanese nor fluent English. Breakfast was amazing for the price, full Japanese breakfast buffet plus croissants and yoghurt. Shared large baths in the basement had a sauna, hot, cool and cold baths and toiletries- on a par with expensive hotels. Great place for adults to stay for a night or two if you don't need the frills or privacy.

Perfect for solo travelers but also groups! The location was perfect only a few blocks from the shopping centers, the main area of Sapporo, and transportation lines. The entire hostel was extremely clean and looked exactly like the photos. They have so many high-quality toiletries like face cleansing wash and oil, moisturizer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, you don't need to bring your own. The onsen was so nice to wind down after a long day of traveling. The hostel was very comfy and quiet and I was so sad to leave.

It was an unexpectedly excellent stay! The hotel is 2 minutes away from the train station, 4 minutes away from the limousine bus stop going to the airport and just few steps to the famous Odori Park. The room was clean and unexpectedly quiet. All guests during my stay was (I guess) been courteous enough to be quiet while inside their respective room/cabin. The shower area was great and was equipped with the necessary facilities. If in Sapporo, I would definitely be staying in this hotel. Highly recommended!

Facilities were very good, it's a professionally run establishment. The public baths were well equipped and great after a long day, with the beds being very comfortable. There was always staff available in the lobby and what little interaction I had with them was positive. Beds have a very high ceiling which makes it useful for moving about. 7/11 that is attached to the building, meaning you don't even have to go outside to access.
